Biography

Anthony Pettigrew,serves as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development at Novaliq GmbH. He is a highly experienced chemist and manager, with over 15 years of pharmaceutical experience. Initially, he joined Novaliq GmbH in 2012 as Chief Protein Chemist; however in 2013, he was promoted to Director of New Products.Prior to joining Novaliq, he had built up a solid background in the biotech field as his previous experience included leadership positions in the Biopharma Application Development group at Novozymes Biopharma A/S DK and within Analytical Development/Quality Control at Veloxis A/S DK. Pettigrew graduated as a chemist at Liverpool John Moores University (1993) and later earned his MSc in Analytical Chemistry (1995) from the University of Huddersfield.

Research Area

Drug delivery technology based on Semi-Fluorinated Alkanes (SFA) particularly in the area of formulation of biopharmaceuticals.
